Several years ago a friend introduced me to the wonderful art of Rug Hooking. I was immediately fascinated by it. Soon after, I started taking classes from a great teacher I found in my area. I love every aspect of Rug Hooking: planning, designing, dyeing the wool and playing with colors. However, I did notice that finding good quality wool at an affordable price, wasn't as easy as going to the local fabric store. So I started seriously searching for suppliers, but found that many of the mills in the USA have either closed their business or moved overseas. I saw the need for 100% Wool Fabric and was determined to do something about it. After much research I discovered some reliable mills abroad, placed my first order, and thus The Wool Connection was born. We have an ever-changing selection of imported wools in various colors and textures that you are sure to love. We have been in business since January 2000.
